Internal Salesperson

Logistics is a fast-paced industry, and we’re looking for the right person to join our growing team as an internal salesperson.

Here are the details:

Salary: £22,000 + commission (after a probationary period, which will be discussed at the interview).

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm.

Location: Office-based (Berkhamsted)

Requirements:

Experience within the carrier industry would be great, although it’s not essential. However, you will need a good telephone manner and computer skills as we use several software platforms across the business.

Job description:

You will be selling directly over the phone. This will include some cold calling (inbound and outbound), although some warm leads will be provided from our database and Google Ads campaigns.

You’ll use our CRM system, updating it and using it as a diary for calls and follow-ups. Once you have brought new accounts on board, their retention and profitability are your responsibility.

Booking shipments on the in-house software also falls within your remit.

The role is based in our Berkhamsted office within a small team that reports directly to the Sales Director.
